Don't Fight With Me

Sometimes what you see in the skein . . .

... is VERY different from what you get when you knit the yarn up.

I probably shouldn't have, but I expected stripes.

So, I chose Vanilla Latte Socks -- meh!

Then I tried Pin Striped Socks. You couldn't really see the slipped stitches.

I'm going to stop fighting with the yarn.

The yarn has spoken.

It wants to be just a pair of stockinette socks with a slipped stitched heel.

And, I'm okay with that.

  6. You listened! Yes, it is not worth the struggle! This has a very pretty color pooling going on-very complex.

  8. It is funny how you have to find the right thing for the right yarn isn't it.

  9. Sometimes plain stockinette is the best. That sure is a pretty color.
